Aged care
Planning for residential aged care is one of life’s most important and financially complex decisions. We’re here to ease that stress.
Preparing for residential aged care, whether for yourself or a loved one, can feel challenging and overwhelming. It’s completely normal to experience stress or uncertainty about the steps involved and the decisions that need to be made. You don’t have to navigate this alone. We help break down the jargon in facility agreements, assist with paperwork and updates for Services Australia, and most importantly, bring clarity to the financial side so you feel more in control.
Our primary focus is developing a strategy tailored to your situation — one that maximises income and cashflow while minimising ongoing care costs. A well‑structured plan can make a meaningful difference to both your financial comfort and your peace of mind.
Already in care? It may still be worth reviewing your situation. A fresh look can reveal opportunities to improve your cashflow or reduce unnecessary costs.
Not sure where to begin? Talk to us today. We’re here to guide you through each step with calm, practical, and personalised support.
Respite Care
Residential respite care offers short‑term support in an Aged Care facility when extra help is needed — for example, when a carer takes a break or after a hospital stay when returning home isn’t yet possible. Stays are often arranged in two‑week blocks, depending on your needs and the facility’s availability.
Many families also use respite as a helpful way to experience a home before making longer‑term decisions.
Residential Aged Care
Permanent Residential Aged Care is that next step when you are no longer able to remain at home and need assistance with daily care. Aged Care facilities provide both accommodation and personal and clinical care.
Government funded aged care facilities are regulated by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) and must meet strict Aged Care Quality Standards to ensure they provide quality care and services.
Help at home or short term care
Support at Home services can provide eligible older Australians with help around the home — from cleaning and meal preparation to personal care, nursing, and short‑term recovery support after an illness or hospital stay. These programs are designed to keep you safe, supported, and independent for as long as possible.
If you’re not eligible for subsidised services, there are still many private providers who offer similar support on a fee‑for‑service basis. This can be a flexible option for those who want help quickly or prefer to tailor services to their needs.
While this isn’t an area we specialise in, we can connect you with trusted providers who can guide you through the process and help you access the right support, whether subsidised or private. We can also offer referrals to other services you might need to consider:
Placement Services.
Vendor Advocate Services.
Business specialising in decluttering and full home clean-outs supporting people moving into Aged Care.
